TaxPlus Accountants are a local, independent accountants based in Street, Somerset serving the local community and the surrounding areas by providing accountancy, payroll, company secretarial, bookkeeping, independent examinations and taxation services.
We pride ourselves as being extremely professional and proactive whilst remaining friendly and offer a relaxed non-stuffy approach which we believe enhances our personable approach. The personal one to one relationship we believe is invaluable so we can get to know our clients and their business, which in turn enables us to advise and help our clients in a more informed way.

TaxPlus Accountants was founded in 2012 and is owned and run by Caron Gilks who has 24 years private practice accountancy experience.
Caron started her career working for a local Chartered Accountancy firm in Street, Somerset as a junior and left 10 years later as an ‘Accounts and Tax Senior’. Here she gained a wealth of knowledge in all accounting and tax areas whilst studying and became a full member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2003. Caron went onto help run and become the ‘Accountant’ at the Bridgwater and Cheddar Branches for a nationwide accountancy franchise.
TaxPlus Accountants originally became an idea on a part time basis to fit in with having a young family. Over the past 13 years we have gone from having a handful of clients to many and are still going from strength to strength with most of our new clients coming to us from recommendations from our current clients.
Caron is a down to earth, approachable accountant who is a fully Licensed and Regulated AAT Member in Practice.
